Short-and-Sweet Media Job Fair
JAZZY MEET AND GREET. Want to meet media employers looking for interns, freelancers, part-timers and full-timers? Go to the Second Annual Short-and-Sweet Media Job Fair from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 24. Sponsored in part by the SPJ South Florida chapter, the event will be at the Jazziz Bistro, inside the Seminole Hard Rock Casino's Paradise Plaza, Hollywood, Fla. The third annual event is Saturday, March 1, from 1-4:30 pm at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood.

This event was an extraordinary networking opportunity for me. I was able to get speaking commitments for our media day “It’s a Jungle Out there.” These are just a few of the notable speakers that I was able to close in this event: Lucho Durand, New Assignment Manager for CBS4; Craig Stevens, Anchor for WSVN7; Kevin Kaminski Editor of Boca Raton Magazine.
