Speaker for "It's a Jungle Out There" Kevin Kaminski, Editor for the Boca Raton Magazine

Mr. Kaminski will focus his topic on “The truth and nothing but the truth: A no-holds-barred look at the world of regional magazines” at our media event "It's a Jungle Out There on March 27." This speaker will be in WUC 159.

He joined the staff of Boca Raton in May 2006 after spending the previous five years with Palm Beach Media Group, including three years in the editor’s chair at Palm Beach Illustrated. The University of Florida graduate began his journalism career as a sports writer and spent more than a decade covering the National Football League, including as a beat writer for Gannett News Service (covering the Miami Dolphins). Mr. Kaminski spent seven years guiding the editorial direction of two national sports publications—Football News and Basketball Weekly—during which time he interviewed everyone from Michael Jordan to Joe Montana to Larry Bird to Brett Favre.
