As women and as representatives of strong women in AWC, I would like to share my charity experience that speaks to all women. I decided to donate my hair to "Beautiful Lengths," a charity that gives wigs for free to women who have lost their hair after chemotherapy. You might have seen Hilary Swank cut her hair on Oprah. I want to spread the word because it takes 6 ponytails to make one wig. The more ponytails, the more women regain the one thing that makes us all feel feminine and beautiful! Oh my goodness, I don't want to sound like a sap but I almoost spilled a tear reading this. It's funny how sometimes we take things for granted. Thank you for sharing this with us, and bringing awareness to this issue.
