Hearst Lecture Series Presents Mark Fitzgerald

The SJMC will have the privilege of hosting Mark Fitzgerald, editor at
large
for Editor & Publisher Magazine, as a part of the Hearst Lecture Series
at
the two times listed above.

He will present "Dos Rios: Dos Puentes: The Unique Dual Transitions
Facing
Hispanic Media," a review of the current state of Spanish-language and
bilingual media. He'll also discuss his recent trip to Venezuela, where
he
protested the freedom-reducing reforms that Hugo Chavez has planned to
implement there.
